General Practice is not contracted to provide travel advice, so we are unable to offer this service. If you need information about travel vaccines for your upcoming trip, we recommend contacting a private provider for comprehensive advice.
However, our practice can provide the following NHS vaccines related to travel:

- Hepatitis A (infectious hepatitis)
- Typhoid
- Tetanus, Diphtheria & Polio – as given in the combined Td/IPV vaccine
- Cholera – this is NOT given commonly needed for travel as the risk of getting it is very small. It is recommended in a very small subset of people.
Once you have received your travel advice and if it indicates that you need one or more of the above vaccines, please book an appointment with our practice to obtain the NHS travel vaccine with our practice nurses. To ensure timely vaccination, please schedule your appointment well in advance of your intended travel date. As this is considered a routine appointment, we recommend booking it at least EIGHT WEEKS before your departure. If routine appointments are not available, you may not be able to receive this service, and the practice cannot be held responsible for any delays.
Please note that there may be a charge for certain vaccinations and the vaccination required may not be available.
